Live Webinar: The Anti-Viral Immune
Response to COVID-19
Prof. Danny Altmann |
Imperial College London, UK
|
In this
webinar Professor Altmann will consider the role of antibody and T-cell
immunity in the anti-viral response to SARS-CoV-2.
The talk progresses from a textbook view of the basic control of viral
infection, to some of the greatest advances of the past two years’, as a
result of the steep learning curve during the pandemic; this includes
consideration of neutralising antibody titre as a correlate of protection, T cell epitopes,
protective immunity to variants of concern and the need for next-generation
vaccines.
