觀音山山腳的錢鼠
 
錢鼠又叫作臭鼩,是真盲缺目鼩鼱科(又稱尖鼠科)的動物,牠們的四肢短小嘴巴比老鼠更為尖長。囓齒目的鼠類上下顎各有會不斷增生的門牙,必須依靠到處咬咬來持續磨短門牙;但真盲缺目動物則不具有這樣的牙齒。
