儘管一般認定演化保守之泛素受體,在辨識泛素化受質及將之轉運至26S蛋白酶體(proteasome)分解時,扮演重要角色。惟鐵證支持泛素受體其泛素結合活性之生體內重要性仍然付之闕如。符宏勇研究室先前報導主要泛素受體RPN10之泛素結合活性與其生體內功能完全無關,其研究室甫於Int J Mol Sci上發表之論文,藉由互補實驗,再次確認僅含氨基端215個胺基酸且羧基端剔除不具所有泛素結合活性之RPN10 (N215),具備該蛋白之完整生體內功能。 |
