[生圖推廣誌]-國家生技園區步道的麝香貓
 
麝香貓是靈貓科的動物,牠和同屬靈貓科的白鼻心其實是親戚關係,也都是淺山動物。麝香貓在過去因為牠尾巴上顯著的黑色環紋,因此也有七節貍、七仔與九節貓等稱呼。

生命組研究成果重要發現

 
 
 
 
阿拉伯芥兩個主要泛素受體RPN10及RPN13的非泛素結合功能
 
儘管一般認定演化保守之泛素受體,在辨識泛素化受質及將之轉運至26S蛋白酶體(proteasome)分解時,扮演重要角色。惟鐵證支持泛素受體其泛素結合活性之生體內重要性仍然付之闕如。符宏勇研究室先前報導主要泛素受體RPN10之泛素結合活性與其生體內功能完全無關,其研究室甫於Int J Mol Sci上發表之論文,藉由互補實驗,再次確認僅含氨基端215個胺基酸且羧基端剔除不具所有泛素結合活性之RPN10 (N215),具備該蛋白之完整生體內功能。

DNA methyltransferase 3B (DNMT3B) plays a crucial role in DNA methylation during mammalian development. Mutations in DNMT3B are associated with human genetic diseases, particularly immunodeficiency, centromere instability, facial anomalies (ICF) syndrome.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The role of adiponectin-AMPK axis in TDP-43 mislocalization and disease severity in ALS
 
Hypermetabolism is a prominent characteristic of ALS patients. Aberrant activation of AMPK, an energy sensor regulated by adiponectin, is known to cause TDP-43 mislocalization, an early event in ALS pathogenesis.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Separate anterior paraventricular thalamus projections differentially regulate sensory and affective aspects of pain
 
The experience of pain is complex, involving both sensory and affective components, yet the underlying neural mechanisms remain elusive.
