Important Research

Overcoming the nutritional immunity by engineering iron-scavenging bacteria for cancer therapy

Certain bacteria demonstrate the ability to target and colonize the tumor microenvironment, a characteristic that positions them as innovative carriers for delivering various therapeutic agents in cancer therapy.

Neuronal population activity in the olivocerebellum encodes the frequency of essential tremor in mice and patients

Essential tremor (ET) is the most prevalent movement disorder, characterized primarily by action tremor, an involuntary rhythmic movement with a specific frequency.

Systematic Studies on the Anti-SARS-CoV-2 Mechanisms of Tea Polyphenol-Related Natural Products

The causative pathogen of COVID-19, severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), utilizes the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the spike protein to bind to human receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2).

Orphan nuclear receptors-induced ALT-associated PML bodies are targets for ALT inhibition

Identifcation of cancer vulnerabilities through understanding the mechanism of ALT telomere maintenance Orphan nuclear receptors (NRs), such as COUP-TF1, COUP-TF2, EAR2, TR2, and TR4, are implicated in telomerase-negative cancers that maintain their telomeres through the alternative lengthening of telomeres (ALT) mechanism. However, how the telomeric association of orphan NRs is involved in ALT activation remains unclear.

Functional and structural investigation of a broadly neutralizing SARS-CoV-2 antibody

Since its emergence, SARS-CoV-2 has been continuously evolving, hampering the effectiveness of current vaccines against COVID-19. mAbs can be used to treat patients at risk of severe COVID-19.

Thus, the development of broadly protective mAbs and an understanding of the underlying protective mechanisms are of great importance.
